Each year, LEAFF collaborates with Asian film festivals to bridge the cultural gap between East and West. For this year’s Festival Focus, we are delighted to partner with Nara International Film Festival (Festival Director Naomi Kawase). LEAFF presents 8mm restorations of Director Naomi Kawase’s early works as well as a curated selection from Nara-tive and Nara-wave.
