SYNOPSIS:

Following the death of his father, Masato, a young ramen chef living in Japan, stumbles upon a box filled with memorabilia and old photos of his family leading him to the roots of where his family comes from. He embarks upon an adventure to Singapore and is able to track his distant uncle Ah Wee that reveals to him family secrets and the reason behind the turbulent love of Masato’s parents. Masato is able to discover not only the mysterious past of his family, but also learn the secrets of Singaporean cuisine.
