This screening is organised to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Korean cinema in partnership with Totally Thames.

SYNOPSIS : In 2000, an American military pathologist orders his assistant to dump 200 bottles of formaldehyde down a drain leading into the Han River in Seoul.

In 2006, a slow-witted young man named Park Gang-du runs a small snack-bar in a park near the River with his father. While Gang-du is delivering food to some customers, a huge creature emerges from the Han River and begins attacking people. The creatures captures Gang-du’s daughter and he attempts to rescue her…

The Host will be screened on the top deck of a boat after a cruise along the River Thames at sunset.
